I should NOT
have gone to the gym last night. I did the wimpy routine of 20 minutes on the bike at level 4, chest press and row at unbelievably low weights, same for quads and hams.
Today I feel like I could fall asleep at my desk. There is definitely merit in the remarks made that a full 3 week recovery is what I should expect.

So far, so good. I actually had to get on the computer to have a link to the outside world since it’s my first night home without my parents in almost 2 weeks.
Side note: I live alone and have for years, but having people stay with me for any amount of time over three days usually resets my “I’ll watch it, I don’t give a fuck, I’m not scared” mode.

Yeah, it's about as bad as they say.
i have finally begun to eat solid food again. PTL!
in other news, i cannot WAIT to get back to the gym. i feel like i’ve lost all muscle progress by being laid up for the past two weeks. luckily i’ve lost quite a bit of weight, but of course not in the healthiest way since i’ve only been consuming liquid and easily chewed/dissolved foods in tiny amounts.
i figure i can start...
